Best Practices: Processing RED Raw
« on: March 06, 2017, 06:52:35 AM »

I'm a DP based in Mumbai, India and I love working with the RED - for it's resolution and interface.

I almost always seem to have a processing / noise issue with my footage.

I'm not sure if it's the local expertise in my city that's not expert level with RED Raw or what.

Do any of you have any nuggets you'll can share on this?

Hi Jignesh,

Yes, there is possibility of noise in process Image because of decode quality,
during shooting in red camera you can use histogram and goal post to see your noise label in camera
